Say what you will about the How to Train Your Dragon remake. Was it needed? No. But at least it had a lot of the heart and magic of the animated film and even added some new things to give the story a little more depth. Plus, the visuals on the dragons were absolutely spectacular.

There haven't been too many early reactions for Zootopia 2 after last night's world premiere. However, I expect that number to grow overtime. That being said, the reactions we've gotten so far have been positive and I couldn't be more happier.

Okay, I think I'm sold on this now! The story does feel a little been there done that in terms of SpongeBob content, but the humor looks funny, the animation is growing on me and it looks like it could be a fun adventure.

Okay, I think I'm sold on this now! The story does feel a little been there done that in terms of SpongeBob content, but the humor looks funny, the animation is growing on me and it looks like it could be a fun adventure.

Do I think Toy Story should've ended with 3? Yes. Did I still enjoy Toy Story 4? Yes. Am I looking forward to this one? Again yes. Do I think it's needed? Not necessarily. But it's directed by Andrew Stanton. So we should be in good hands.

Since the pre-sales are similar to Inside Out 2, I expect this to exceed expectations at the box office.

I don't even know if Elio's gonna get nominated. If somehow Zootopia 2 ends up underwhelming us, then maybe it'll have a shot. As of now though, given the positive early buzz around In Your Dreams, I'm leaving it out for the time being.
Disney is submitting ‘ELIO’ and ‘ZOOTOPIA 2’ for consideration in all categories during awards season.

There have been projections that Zootopia 2 could end its global run with between $1.0B-$1.02B, which would be solid for Disney. However, I'm thinking it will make MORE than that especially if the quality is at least on par with the first one.
