What a joke, all the issues in the UK and instead of dealing with them they are having an Emergency Session to try justify letting dangerous thugs come to the UK because they are Israeli.

"I have worked with Nathan Gill over a period of years and he's been terrific, he's never, ever, let me down. He's as honest as the day is long and, in the leaders' debates that have been taking place in Wales, he's performed very creditably."

- Nigel Farage, 2016
Really, Reform UK? THIS is what you're going with? That this man, who served as an MEP next to Nigel Farage for years and was made leader of your party in Wales by current deputy, Richard Tice, is just "one of tens of thousands of people Nigel meets on an annual basis"?~AA

"Can't rebuild economy based on low wages and poverty"
UK median wage for an employee is £30,816.

A single person needs to earn £30,500 a year to reach a minimum acceptable standard of living.

A couple with 2 children needs £74,000 a year between them.

Can't rebuild economy based on low wages and poverty.
If the government wants economic growth it must bring essential industries into public ownership
Successive governments clobber households and small businesses by hiking interest rates to manage inflation, but don’t inconvenience corporations.

Don't pretend you're not racist.
Yes, yes you are. Stop cosplaying "legitimate concerns". When you join a far right rally, organised by well known far right leader Tommy Robinson, with a host of speakers who outright say they are far right, you are a racist. No ifs, buts or maybes. There are no excuses for being there.

"We got him!"
"Book him Danno!"

The family handed him in but the FBI claim they did a great job.

How are they going to spin this one now that they know he's the son of a Republican family and not a radical loony lefty?

The BBC and the govt are tone deaf when it comes to public opinion.
Gary Lineker on winning the National TV Award,

"It's not lost on me why I might have won this award"

Complete, abject and disgraceful failure to explain the situation to voters. What is the point in being in power if you can't draw a line on some basic liberal values? Or even confront the truth, which in this case they are refusing to.

The only reason you would leave the European Convention on Human Rights and scrap Human Rights laws is if you want to take away people’s human rights.

This isn’t political red tape, it’s the bare fucking minimum. We are waltzing into a fascist state.

There are a lot of idiots enraged by this misleading Times headline.

The article itself - yes, the exact same one - points out that:

A) In any typical year, about 50 independent schools close

B) More independent schools opened than shut, so the overall number went up.

But that's far too nuanced.

What's happening at Newcastle is the fault of their ownership and their lack of sporting strategy and structure. They've no director of football in a key moment, and are a Champions League club losing out to transfer targets all over the place, if they were even the right targets in the first place.
