I stumbled out of my bedroom to discover that I shared this tiny, squalid apartment with a person named Thad who claimed to be a part-time barista and a full-time experimental sound artist. He offered me a sip from his can of Red Bull and played some of his latest sound art for me.

We are focused on the resignation part of the SSA story (hiya, Chuck Borges!), but that is only a small portion of a MUCH LARGER story of the ongoing shenanigans over at the Social Security Agency. Give this thread a look, okay?
1/21 OK we are gonna start with this story. This is gonna be long and a little nuanced so stick with me. There will be a lot in here that will address SSA employees directly so if you know an SSA employee, please share with them! And if you see any errors or gaps in my knowledge, please let me know!
For reference this is the other article I’m talking about. More to come tomorrow. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Help your students to read and understand Shakespeare!

We are biased, but we have the best set of worksheets and lesson plans for teaching iambic pentameter to high school students. We offer a free version and an $8 version, both awesome.

I have incarcerated comrades & loved ones who are enduring the daily torture of US prisons. They also continue to make art. They often don't have the proper supplies and yet they make it knowing that it will never make it out to anyone else. But they continue to make art nonetheless. Keep making art
