Poems in the tradition of S. Sassoon and W. Owen endured for a reason. The hope attached to each was that we could move collectively into a post-war reality. A reality that, unfortunately seems as far away now as it did back then.

Playing the Silent Hill 2 Remake, much like the original game, has been an endurance battle but, unlike most titles that I would say similarly of, I mean that as a very high compliment. The scares are many, the atmosphere is unendingly oppressive and the story remains one of the best in the genre.
