No one seems to have noticed or cared about Trump's ridiculous comments last night, when he just inserted into his speech that the 2020 election was stolen, and referred to Adam Shiff as 'shifty Shiff and mention Hillary Clinton as 'crooked Hillary Clinton.' The man is deranged.

@maddow.bsky.social Reading Tim Snyder's book, 'The Road to Unfreedom,' it strikes me that Trump's latest comments about the 'decay' of European countries clearly indicates his radical anti-democratic positions. Russian political theorists have postulated the same ideas.

@celesteheadlee.bsky.social Please forgive the intrusion, but I was just thrilled to see your post. By the way, the recording of the Afro-American Symphony which I consider the best is on Bridge Records in 1999, recorded in 1965, and beautifully remastered. Royal Philharmonic, Karl Kruger.

Thanks for the great information about your grandfather. I have many recordings of his work in my collection.
My grandfather is William Grant Still, the Dean of African-American composers and one of the most accomplished musicians the US has ever produced. He is arguably the best orchestral arranger of the 20th century.
