If a #transit mode uses streets, it must be given signal priority at intersections, as well as a dedicated lane. Otherwise, the result will be the chaos currently unfolding in #Houston.

The city of Oslo has been lowering speed limits quite aggressively, even on the few urban highways that still exist. And drivers seem to largely be adhering to the new limits. So now, traffic sometimes feels like it’s moving slow motion. This is from a cycling trip yesterday.

Given the obvious economic impact of projects like the Atlanta Beltline path and the huge effect on #transportation wrought by the #Micromobility Revolution, it’s hard to find a more important project for #cities than a trail network.
