#TrailsATL
#Investing in #infrastructure for #bikes and other #micromobility — like the Atlanta Beltline — is clearly a smart move!
Perhaps we need to implement the TrailsATL plan a bit faster.💡

How much did investors pay for the Krog Street Market district? A lot.
The price makes the sale one of the most expensive commercial real estate transactions of the past few years in Atlanta.

What struck me about this trip was how #Paris has once again cemented its status among world-leading #cities. #Atlanta is still having trouble achieving that position, partly due to our fixation on schemes from the previous century.
TrailsATL plus the “Wheels & Heels” plan can get us there.

Malhotra had a better stance on TrailsATL than Overstreet. However, his eager embrace of BRN’s efforts to devote the entirety of More MARTA funds to the Beltline streetcar was a dealbreaker for many. Bond’s election probably won’t make a difference, as the streetcar’s greatest enemy was always math.

Why support the TrailsATL plan?
Look to #Paris, where the writer notes that kids are able to get to school on #bikes without danger. He notes this happens on the @atlantabeltline.org, too. That makes our “Wheels & Heels” safety fix all the more vital.

Atlanta has a great opportunity with the Beltline to expand the use of micromobility. The strategy is to serve children's needs and ultimately make life better for adults too.

#Atlanta has a golden opportunity with #TrailsATL to really stand out on the global stage by borrowing a page from the playbook #Paris has been using. 🇫🇷🚲🛴🦼🌆
