This is why we need independent thinking leaders at any agency that protects the welfare of Americans (EPA, CDC, NIH, FDA, etc.)
Good news: EPA regulations dramatically reduced lead exposure in the US since the org was established by Nixon in 1970. Bad news: Trump's EPA is trying to roll back many of those regulations now. 🧪
