Writing is frustrating and glacial, and I need it not to be. Just staring at the screen for hours, accomplishing nothing.

If you are changing your plans and staying home today (totally valid), one alternative is making a donation to a nonprofit that defends one of the many, many groups and causes targeted by the Trump administration.
Out of an abundance of caution my Department of Public Safety is recommending that people do not attend any political rallies today in Minnesota until the suspect is apprehended.
