After spending a few days tidying & rearranging in my craft room, I can confidently state that if I quit work today & spent 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, in my craft-room for the rest of my life, it would still not be enough time to complete all the projects I have supplies for.

Celebrated the second night of 2026 by drinking a whole bottle of prosecco & re-watching Lucifer on Netflix while trying to finish one of last year's stitching projects.
Also, I am officially "has to change glasses to thread a needle"-years-old!

Arrived at pak'n'save Albany at 7am, leaving at 8.11am with a boot full of groceries. Not bad for Christmas eve. There sure were a lot of people up early to beat the rush!

Thanks to my husband's very eclectic Christmas playlist, I've just learned Wheatus once released "Christmas Dirtbag", a re-worked version of their one hit. They're singing the wrong words. It's like the "Christmas/Love is all around" debacle all over again.

As someone who wears trousers 99% of the time, I feel so conspicuous when wearing a dress. It's all in my head of course, but I feel like everyone can tell how uncomfortable I am.

Just a heads up for my Santa. I need my beauty sleep too much to do a midnight opening, I have to leave too early to open gifts pre-work, and I have a work Christmas lunch so I'm not sure what time I'll be home. I'm excited to open & post as soon I can, sorry for the delay #SecretSantaAoNZ

Lots of packages arriving this week. Today was the new dress I ordered for festivities, and it fits perfectly thanks Isla-Maree. And goodies from @thesewphist.bsky.social - it will be tough to decide which ones to gift & which I get to keep!
