Watched Stranger Things last night then made the mistake of looking up the Stranger Things discourse. A portion of the fandom is so upset that they didn't get the trigger pulled on a gay ship that they're convinced the finale was bad on purpose and that there's a second, secret finale about to drop

You can hack almost any TTRPG to make combat more high-stakes, exciting and dangerous by removing all combat mechanics. When a fight breaks out, a FIGHT breaks out. Put down the D20 and pick up a chair, nerd, the GMs about to make you pay for splitting the party again

Just saw Wake Up Dead Man and that movie fucks. Full recommend. Just something about watching these movies feels like a sensuous little treat, I'm savouring the dialogue and the jokes and the performances like I'm slipping into a hot bath with a glass of wine.
