Farewell then Tim Davie. Under his watch the BBC whitewashed genocide, had the BBC News website resembling a “migrant crime” X account, boosted trans hate and the right wing STILL hate him. Quite an achievement

I've set up an Instagram account for the many, many photos I couldn't fit into the forthcoming book; I'd really appreciate if anyone wants to have a look, follow and show the images some love. I'll keep adding more photos over the coming months.

The fact that TERFs simlutaneously lack both the imagination for empathy and for finding literally any other fantasy books to read other than Harry bloody Potter is not a coincidence. How small and monotonous their world must be.

Having seen the prices, would it really be so bad to have 'weebly' in my site URL, even when mentioned on the book jacket?
November 6, 2025 at 11:43 AM
I want to include my website in the bio on my book jacket. I suppose paying £60 per year for the rest of eternity to remove the 'weebly' from my URL is a necessity, now? I'm guessing I can't get away with staying on the free tier without looking unprofessional?

Thankfully, I promised my daughter that as a thank you for being so understanding whilst Mummy Went A Bit Insane Writing a Book, I'd use the advance to take her anywhere she wanted for a little holiday. She chose Spain, so I'll be back soon.
And so it is time to leave Spain. I hope Anglophone academics follow the lead of @anihoproject.bsky.social, because their conference wasn't just stimulating, it was timely and vital. It was a huge privilege and honour to be invited by ANIHO to speak, and I hope I did them proud.

I am beyond excited to be flying out to Spain tomorrow to speak at this vital conference. My paper is entitled 'A Sequel to Maga's Maximus: Ridley's Return to the Alt-Right Arena' - itself a sequel to my article about cinematic gladiators and the far-right. www.researchgate.net/publication/...
