7-year-old Ukrainian dancer Zlatoslava Veres has won the Open Ballroom Solo at the World Championship for under-8s in London. Her stunned pause, then explosion of pure joy, went viral and reminded millions how much strength and light Ukrainian children carry with them, even in the darkest times.

Please stop and breathe for a second. Everything is overwhelming and you may think, "but how can I help?". You start with this, one link, six families & a camp. Tangible help. Whatever you do, it helps. If you can´t donate, please share, repost. Thank you
Typing with last few mins I have today with my injured hands! Every share helps

In donating a coffee, you enabled six families & a camp to book a C-section, pay for doctor’s appointments, buy fresh produce, pay rent, get tarps, & more last week. Survival.

The need is high + your impact is huge ❤️

This is a good lesson for Australia. If you can't do anything in a 3 year term, you can't do it in 4, or apparently 5. The problem is not the term length, the problem is the culture and incompetence of the politics of the people who rise to the top in our parties.

My home area. I agree about the fear of the sound of rain - I was there in 2022.
Why they continue to vote against their own self interest, I do not know. The Nationals have never done anything for them. Even in that shameful pork barrelling period disadvantaged towns like Casino got nothing.

Some 1,500 years ago, a child was buried with a set of game pieces made of animal bones.
Single game pieces are frequently found in early medieval graves in south-west Germany, but complete sets are rare.
Found in Herbolzheim, 500-550 AD.

The con is on.

The Cook govt is so captured by fossil methane gas that it’s prepared to doctor and lie in its own reports.

It’s LYING to its *own citizens* to benefit the toxic fossil gas industry that gets its gas for free & pays little in taxes…

This is totally unacceptable.

Yes, this is what to focus on today as we remember Australia’s ‘Dismissal’ 50 years on.
Oh and to note that nothing in our constitution or legislative framework has been changed since to prevent a similar right wing coup d’etat, with conspiracy that included high court judges, happening again!
A reminder - governments *can* do things.
A progressive government *should* do things.
A better country is possible.
Governments *choose* what they do (or do not do).

The Prime Minister is betting that by 2028 people will forget the North West Shelf and EPBC backflips, but it would be a brave backbencher willing to make that same bet.
