Everybody in the world has "Frampton Comes Alive". If you lived in the suburbs you were issued it. It came in the mail with samples of "Tide".
50 Years ago today I released Frampton Comes Alive, 50 years, wow!  Thank you all for making it the huge success it became.

i just don't think you get to say "America wants our land, our resources, our water, our country. But these are not idle threats. President Trump is trying to break us so that America can own us. That will never, that will never ever happen" in your election speech and then say stuff like this

my 75yo mother told me last night that she’s planning to delete Instagram and Facebook because she’s sick of not being able to tell what’s AI and what’s not, and I genuinely don’t think tech companies have reckoned with this kind of move as an actual possibility

The Lady Scotia wood-burning stove was one a range of attractive enameled stoves made at Lunenburg Foundry in the 1920s. This stove came to the Museum of Industry directly from the kitchen where it had spent its working life. Imagine the smell of the bread cooking on a cold winter's day. #NovaScotia

Mark Carney is a coward for refusing to call out the Trump administration over its violation of international law in Venezuela and its escalating threats against Greenland.

He will slam Russia for invading a country, but justify the United States doing the same.

The announcement of this just seems so poorly mismanaged and planned. They had to know people would immediately view it as a conflict of interest, and by not addressing that fact preemptively it makes them look like they just don't care.

I hope it helps your transition off US tech!
Silicon Valley’s alliance with Donald Trump was a mask off moment and showed the world we can’t depend on US tech companies.

For the past few months, I’ve been trying to get off US tech and I put together a guide so you find alternatives too. I hope you find it helpful!
Getting off US tech: a guide

"For three decades, the goal of tech development has not been to improve our lives or to serve the public good, but rather to maximize shareholder value and to increase the power of the companies that control it...We need to recognize that was a choice, and we can choose to take a different path."
For decades, Canadians eagerly rushed onto US tech platforms and services. But now the drawbacks of that dependence are on full display.

For @policyalternatives.ca, I explain the economic and political consequences of a US-dominated internet — and why digital sovereignty is imperative.
