How we decided, as western countries, that oil and gas are the place to sink all our time and tax dollars into is beyond me.
Build the gd windmills and the gd solar panels. It will create jobs and help the planet.
don't stop until electricity is free for everyone.

A gal can dream
I’m hearing more and more rumours- just rumours from multiple sources— that Poilievre may be quitting instead of taking a slow burn to a loss.

JUST RUMOURS

Personally, I can’t see a narcissist doing this… so take it for what it is.

There is enough to complain about with that president without making shit up.
He had been seated, he stood up, watched what was happening and eventually turned his back.
This is a nothing story.
The Sociopath-In-Chief couldn't be bothered to even turn his head in the direction of a man in the midst of a medical emergency who collapsed in his office. Completely incapable of empathy, the EPSTEIN Files can't be released soon enough.

I'm rewatching Game of Thrones and I feel like Tlump maybe got some ideas from that series.

The thing about affordability is that rich people don't care if you can afford food or shelter or education.
If they did they would willingly pay their fair share of taxes and people could have food and shelter and education.

Sorry to everyone who lives in Port au Port. I put my snow tires on and now it's hailing.

You know.... Baseball can be played indoors in poor weather and outdoors in good weather, so there is NO reason that professional baseball can't be ALWAYS in season.
They can still have a World Series - wait! They can have 2! 6 months of reg season to make divison A or B and each could have a WS!

Anyone have a submarine sandwich they could bring me? For some reason I'm craving onion and mustard, I can almost smell it.

When someone enters the MLB Hall of Fame and have played for multiple teams, they should wear a generic white baseball MLB uniform BUT be photographed holding bobbleheads from ALL the teams they played on.

My feelings on potentially losing Blue Jays in the off season.
Baseball in general benefits if we can spread the joy that the Jays brought to us, to more people.
Anyone who Toronto gains will be welcomed with open arms and live a little better life.
It's all good.

Those 'almost a million' people who say they are leaving New York if Mamdani wins, they know they could just vote, right?
753k votes won the last election.

Looks like we are going to get as much rain in the next two weeks as we have had since, I dunno, maybe June?
Our ponds and lakes really can use it, so I think I'm.... happy about this?

I think everyone should just move the timezones by 30 minutes and keep them there.
But if they do, Newfoundland (and part of Labrador) should just choose whichever one we like best. Either be the same as Atlantic time, or an hour ahead of Atlantic time.

Been here for three years.
Never had one Trick or Treater, until today.
I didn't buy treats this year because I just eat them.
The people were .... adults.
They drove here.
I live in the middle of nowhere.

I stole my husband's game-worn Tony Fernandez jersey to wear today.
I've dressed as 'Die-hard Blue Jays Fan' for Halloween.
I'm not a tiny woman.
This jersey is HUGE.

Oh. If only I didn't have to work today.
This big baby would keep me warm and cosy and ... well numb because he is cutting off all circulation to my legs.
