Nomad Stages in Newfoundland and Labrador (where I work) is going to be doing a production of Come From Away and I am literally crying the happiest tears.

Those 'almost a million' people who say they are leaving New York if Mamdani wins, they know they could just vote, right?
753k votes won the last election.

My husband had to pull over on the way to Corner Brook (from Stephenville way) to take this photo. He said he missed the sun shining brilliantly by about 10 seconds, but still gorgeous.

I stole my husband's game-worn Tony Fernandez jersey to wear today.
I've dressed as 'Die-hard Blue Jays Fan' for Halloween.
I'm not a tiny woman.
This jersey is HUGE.

Oh. If only I didn't have to work today.
This big baby would keep me warm and cosy and ... well numb because he is cutting off all circulation to my legs.

T'was another beautiful sunrise.

There was not enough room for the closing in the Alt Text but the meat of the letter is here.

T'was a beautiful morning. If you zoom in to the right, there is a hint of a rainbow in the trees across the pond.

What a beautiful view. Blue and pink Vladdy and blue and pink sky.

I did. Hahaha! And one of my Mrs Roper friends recorded it.
It was one of the most fun nights out with friends that I ever had.

I can't see the game.
This guy is taking up too much of the screen.

The best part:
"The report then cuts to AI Trump speaking in direct, complete sentences inconsistent with the president’s normal speaking patterns."

Photo taken with night mode on my phone looking north (with the porch light on illuminating the bushes in the foreground) with the green hue of northern lights in the distance and stars of the Big Dipper also in view (if you zoom in).

I walked the fossil bed of the petrified trees in Stephenville today for the first time even though I grew up in Stephenville.
It was very cool.

The car is pictured here (labelled as graphic so you can choose to view it or not) which thought at the time was the luckiest thing to ever happen to me was walking away from with one small cut, a few small scratches, and a lump on my arm that ended up saving my life.

Robins made their nest under the deck at the back of my house. The problem is, that's the entrance we use because the door at the front of the house is not accessible.
My dog knocked the nest down TWICE despite my feeble attempts to blockade the area.
Yesterday the chick fledged!
I'm quite happy.

In the background is a hand poured cement cold cellar.
It's in remarkably good condition for something that's around 70 years old.
It's been filled with garbage, unfortunately.

Short visit to #FogoIsland today to see my maternal grandmother's ancestral home.
This is what remains of their house: the base of the chimney.
My mother is sitting there, on the same footprint where she played as a child. She spent her first 11 years summering on Fogo (Back Cove).
