Not only is this federal freeze just an egregious overstep, but also the messaging is fucking terrible. No one has any clue what federal funding is affected, and a lot of this funding is flowing to nonprofits without means to survive a substantial delay in funding.

Enjoying this federal freeze as my nonprofit organization is in the middle of a construction project with a federally appropriated grant that has not yet been drawn down as we are incurring millions of dollars in construction expenses and receiving invoices
