Decades of underfunded social services have led to this, a grandmother caring for 2 neglected and disabled children, neglected and abused by drug user mother, and cloent has been accommodated in a room in a hostel for a year. This could have all been avoided by early intervention. #Freelegaladvice

When I found out that I'm intersex I knew, statistically, there were lots of other people like me out there, but only about a dozen were publicly visible. It has been a great joy to me to watch this movement grow over the decades and begin to exert real pressure for our human rights to be respected.

Heidi Alexander, the transport secretary, rules out metal detecting arches at stations, pointing out that with the number of stations and entrances to each it's basically impossible. She says that overall, UK trains are a pretty safe place to be.
