Guys, am I imagining things or has Trader Joe's changed it's beef & broccoli recipe? The beef is soooo heavily coated in fried batter now rather than lightly tossed in cornstarch like I remember.

I tried my first burger at Red's Java House! This 70-year-old restaurant serves lunch on a pier that's been feeding San Franciscans lunch for 90 years now. Did I enjoy their unique cheeseburger that only comes with pickles & onions on a sourdough roll? Full review: thegourmez.com/blog/2025-11... 🍽️🍔
Red's Java House
For a waterfront restaurant in San Francisco, Red’s Java House is about as unpretentious as you can get.

I've heard the local Bay Area drug scene is showing signs of meth overtaking fentanyl again.
A Post investigation found that Chinese manufacturers are shipping large amounts of chemicals that can be used in producing synthetic drugs to lawless parts of Southeast Asia, where criminal gangs have been trafficking record levels of meth.
China’s chemical exports are behind a ‘tsunami’ of meth flooding Asia
Chinese manufacturers are shipping meth precursor chemicals to warlords in Myanmar, precipitating a drug crisis across the Asia-Pacific, a Post investigation finds.

Bugonia: This film is A LOT. To save Earth, a pair of conspiracy theorists kidnap a CEO they believe is an alien. The film can be read several ways, but was too violent for my comfort. Still, you have to admire Lanthimos's and his favorite actors' commitment to his vision and aesthetic. #filmsky 📽️

Dear lord, bought a pound of butter and the cheapest price at Lucky's is $5.99. Then I glimpsed a $4.99 and thought it was a deal in comparison! But no, that was only for 1/2lb of butter. 😫 I'm pretty sure we'd all go broke without Trader Joe's and Costco these days.

Absolutely sadistic.

A Dem Congress should pass a law banning anyone who is currently serving with ICE or CBP from future Fed employment.

The Feds should condition all future Fed grants to police depts on blanket refusals to hire ppl who were in ICE/CBP right now.
Or Rodney Taylor, a disabled double amputee who’s been in America since he was two years old.

He was days away from receiving new prosthetic legs when ICE grabbed him

His health is declining, they won’t let him get his legs and they’ve placed him in solitary

DO NOT CLICK THE LINK.

Bluesky would NEVER send a DM like this and make you scared. This would come through email and would have a more professional email than this.
