This is what happens when you, a company with a very progressive customer base, capitulate to a bully and wannabe dictator. They haven't received a penny of my money since they turned their backs on us.
Make sure to continue that 🎯 Target boycott as you consider any holiday shopping. Make it a real 💀Black Friday 💀 for them.

The anti-DEI retailer is hurting, so this is its latest strategy to boost foot traffic:

🧾 Target lowering prices on over 3,000 items (thru Dec)

Kim Davis is so angry that the Supreme Court failed to uphold her deeply held religious belief that "marriage is sacred," she's threatening to get three MORE divorces.

I love these guys! I noticed they have no Twitter link on their site, which is a statement in and of itself. They get it. Support your local bookstores, but if you don't have any, these guys send a portion to local bookstores. If you want ebooks, get them here!
Whatever you do, please don’t stop reading.

Read for joy. Read for education. Read for resistance. Read banned books. Read books by marginalized authors. Read about experiences that differ from your own.

Just. Keep. Reading.

Our fear of peanut allergies ended up causing more peanut allergies. Unfortunately we screwed over a generation, but at least we now know better.

Ahhhhhhhh! I love elephants so much! 🐘

There's still beauty in the world, I just have to remind myself of that.

Any experts know what the chirp-like sound they're making indicates? I've never heard it before.

The wonderful Diane Keaton has died. She was always one of my favorites, even as a kid, she just seemed so nice. From everything I'm reading today, it sounds like she was exactly that. A very unexpected one today, rest in peace.

Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Jane Goodall. I listened to an excellent interview with her recently on the podcast Wiser Than Me and would highly recommend it if you want to hear an honest, personal interview with her in her last year.

🎃 Queercraft Movie Night: October Picks! 🎃

We’re watching Host (2020), where a Zoom séance takes a terrifying turn, and The Witches (1990), a campy Roald Dahl classic full of spells and Halloween mischief.

What we are witnessing is an outright abuse of power.

This administration is attacking critics and using fear as a weapon to silence anyone who would speak out. Media corporations — from television networks to newspapers — are capitulating to these threats.
