also when i say hes fast and its easy to get combo'd i mean because while you dont have to stand *completely* still when firing the bow like you do when firing a gun, you do slow down to a molasses pace so in between multiple shots he can keep sprinting at you and if you've ever played bloodborne i
i actually was kinda worried about father gascoigne and i was somewhat right to have been; hes just so *fast* in his second phase its hard to not get wombo combo'd so i had to do a lot of baiting running in circles and only firing arrows him once or twice before doing another lap 😅
