I was part of a group of almost 20 amazing researchers, educators and representation leads from right across the continent and between us, lead by the wonderful Dr Andrea Laczik and Dr Søren Kristensen, we got out 8 chapters covering a lot of important aspects of democracy and vocational education!

While the Eagles came out short, I did enjoy how they countered Georgia in the 1st half

But, by far, the team that impressed me the most was Romania

After a dantesc July, they bounced back and played well against Canada

I am privileged enough to own my home and I would support a capital gains tax being introduced on it.

Such a tax doesn’t impact my immediate financial reality cause I am just planning to live here, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If for some reason I sold it, why shouldn’t I have to pay tax for getting luck money?

As a trained youth worker i often feel like some victorian time traveller explaining a long lost job that no longer exists like Lamplighter.

Except youth work hasn't been made obsolete by technology. It was identified as a threat and aggressively defunded.

Now would be a good time to point out:
- Colleges are full because no one planned for the demographic rise in 16-year-olds
- There are shortages of college teachers and apprenticeship trainers and assessors

*Amazing* to see the sector get the limelight in PM speech - but big decisions needed fast

Completely agree with this. The article by @alicesoapbox.bsky.social is excellent and should serve as a warning to all interested in Scottish Women’s Rugby.

That our team have done so well is ‘in spite of’, not ‘because of’ the SRU’s actions.

Without positive change we will regress.
Great read. More so a warning than anything else, a lot of it eerily familiar, (success aside) and Julia Apu’ula's comments at the end are 100% spot on across the board, Ireland need to also take note.

And the Scots need to fire DN into the sun.
This week is a rehash of the same column I have written for the last four years… which is the duration of time I have spent writing columns.

Ok that match was amazing, I don't think I'll ever get used to watching Canada live, it really is incredible.

(Also Canada were held up right in front of me and am sure the ball brushed the grass before the ref got round so I've decided both Scotland and Black Ferns lost to Canada by 6 tries to 3)

Watch it, listen to it. Digging into pro rugby underneath the shiny numbers.

The only way this could get any better is if Doc Malcolm personally delivered it. And she's busy being the best captain in rugby.
