Townsend has to go. And go now. It’s the coaches job to ensure that the team is mentally resilient enough not to collapse like that.

He has consistently shown that he is not capable of changing this team’s behaviours when the pressure comes on.

Time he fell on his sword.

There is absolutely no chance that 8 catches Dobie in that position…

Steven Ferris. “I love that he (Sam Prendergast) comes into this team and really just first right in”

It’s literally his club side. Who he plays with and trains with week in and week out!

Here’s a suggestion. Remember playing amateur rugby and, when some clown fly hacks the ball up the pitch after the whistle, you had to actually go and get the ball…

I think they should introduce that to international rugby.

Come on Leinster!!!

Did I get that right?

Out viewing a house yesterday and popped into a local farm shop recommended by the estate agent.

I may have underestimated the size of their “Pork Chop Steaks”.
For reference, that’s a large dinner plate 😬

Sam Warburton: “Steve Tandy not happy with that decision!”.

Kinda feel that’s not the only decision he’s maybe unhappy with…

Conversation this week…
Badger’s Partner: “I feel like rugby interrupts our lives a lot.”
Badger: “Nah, not so much. Only Scotland Internationals”
BP: “So how long is the rugby on Saturday”
B: “Errr Noon to 22:30”
BP: “Well, at least we’ll have Sunday free.”
Badger “Err…..”

I fucking love Siya Kolisi. In any other sport that isn’t a (comparative) minority, he’d be a global megastar.

Le Garrec and Lucu are excellent scrum-halves. They’d both be in consideration for any other team in the 6 Nations. But the drop off between them and Dupont is steep…

The French defence is fantastic. Up fast and aggressive. Loving it.

Whatever you think of the call, it’s great to see the ref taking the decision in his own hands there.

Oh ya fecker!! That looks ugly…

Says something about the punditry on some of the matches today that I was actually pleased to hear it was Biggar on this match…. (and I hate myself for saying it, let alone thinking it!).

Big fan of Ben Kaisar too.

In other news. Italy lead Oz by 7 with a minute to play! You love to see it!

Can’t leak 1 soft try against the ABs and expect to win. And we leaked 2.

When you arrive in Oban and everyone in the pub is drinking the same thing, there’s really only one thing to do… lovely pint, to be fair.

@bloodandmud.bsky.social Regarding reclining your seat on a plane, it is my firm belief that there is a special place in hell for people who do that on a f*cking commuter flight between Edinburgh and London.

If you do an episode on flight etiquette, get me on. I have things to say!! 😡 😂

Ireland marched 10 for mouthing off!? Sorry boys, but you’ve go to love to see that!!

A Beirne red card for overenthusiastic sorry shithousery AND Porter's scrummaging getting pinged at the first opportunity? We do love to see it

Didn’t realise it was Monsieur Brousset reffing tonight. Ireland are f*cked 😂

Dear everyone. I know this is picky as fuck and, yes, makes me look more than a little deranged. However…

The proof is not “in the pudding”. The “proof *of* the pudding is in the eating”.

Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Fairly certain that there’s a story that Liam McConnell turned up with the u20s to train with the senior squad, and got into a fight with Schoeman.

Considering he’s only 20 now, this lad has a positive future…
