Language buried in this shutdown “deal” allows 8 GOP Senators who tried to throw a coup, sue to get millions in taxpayer money—because Jack Smith got their phone records. THEY TRIED TO THROW A COUP. There is no excuse for any Dem supporting this. This is absolutely wrong. Full stop—Period.

We followed a court order and worked quickly to make sure that nearly 700,000 Wisconsinites who rely on FoodShare, including about 270,000 kids, had food to eat.
Now, President Trump wants to yank that money away from hungry kids, families, and seniors in Wisconsin? Hell no.

Senators look at Trump's shameless corruption and say "give us some of that"
Buried inside the deal to reopen government is a provision that would give Senators private right of action to sue for millions in damages over their phone records being analyzed by Jack Smith's team.

This lawsuit should be fun to watch because I doubt Michael Wolfe will drop the lawsuit and it will force the discovery process or force the orange conman to step down. The discovery process will include the un redacted Epstein files.

Yup. I said this earlier today, but it was only a guess. Thanks for confirming it. It is no coincidence that of the 8 who came forward to do this, none of them are running in 2026. But they ran cover for some who are.

At what point do you think the American people are going to realize this regime will kill us either way and decide to revolt just to survive it? Hoping this regime will bow to financial pressure - which will take months, if not years - ignores how many people will suffer and die in the meantime.

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.
The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.
People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.
And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
