Newb writer. Lazy reader. Unexpected dog-father.

After many years without social media, I return older, wiser, less of a troll.

Plugging away at my first fantasy novel. Always looking for a home for short stories. Am poor. Somebody pay me for words.

"A thousand dark corridors he had hunted prey; staggered down crooked stairs and scree of bone in perpetual bellies of darkness; fled his enemy pel mel into the void. And now, Shadowvaster’s hands wrung sweat off the hilt of his old master’s sword."🪐📚💙

“Desire and love,” Bulrgam replied. “The things we cling to make us to murder. Could we live any other way? Your people are fine. Better than most.”

It was a hard fight, but we’re here at the conclusion to “A Murder in Min’Krinath” the first story from Shadowvaster in Min’Krinath. Check it out. 🪐📚💙

“Good enough to fall in with murderers,” Bulrgam rumbled. “Fifteen dead: Kitan Hesh”—he spat on the floor—“a washerwoman, a baker.” He took up the whole doorway, a dark, impassable mountain. “Verayal what looked after you while your mother was away. You joined the man who slaughtered her.” 📚🪐💙

📚🪐💙 Looking for your new favorite sub-genre? I'm calling this cozy sword & sorcery. After many horrible adventures in many horrible places, Shadowvaster just wants to settle down. But the murder club won't let him. He can handle them, but will it cost him his place in the community he's found?

The most corrupt administration in American history wants you to look the other way from this.

We can't. We need answers.

The part we aren’t saying enough is that corpos will use tariffs as an excuse even in industries not reliant on imports. They know their shit is so obtuse the majority will believe their excuses. And there’s no longer a watchdog with a big enough bite to do anything about it.
It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.

Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Have seen this exact thing in the Irish context, with middle-class middle-aged men and women who have very few actual problems in their lives.

Starting in the mid-2010s, a steady path from "you should listen to Russell Brand's podcast" to "cancel culture has gone too far" to "Ireland is full"
There was a theory about this in the Netherlands, that radicalisation was a kind of hobby for some voters who are very comfortable and somewhat bored

Don't be an Anakin. Be a Windu. Just don't fall out the window.

Windu: "I am going to end this, once and for all!"
Anakin: "You can't. He must stand trial."
Windu: "He has control of the senate and the courts! He's too dangerous to be left alive."
Anakin: "It's not the Jedi way. He must live!"

Well, when you've publicly announced your intent for a Trail of Tears 2.0, you don't want to remind people of the first one. Donald Trump wants to ethnically cleanse the Gaza Strip of millions of people, pushing them into other countries (who have not agreed to such bullshit, fyi).
