My favourite of the 5 nominees for Documentary Feature is Come and See Me In the Good Light, a film about the last months of poet Andrea Gibson's life before succumbing to cancer. It is beautiful and inspiring in ways that are honest and raw. I highly recommend it.

I had to watch Ella McCay to see if it was as bad as everyone was saying and of coarse it's not. It's not great. It's awkward but it has its moments. But it is easily not the worst film of 2025.
