The rural health care crisis is already here — and Republican Medicaid cuts would make it catastrophic.

Nearly 200 rural hospitals have closed nationwide in the past two decades.

For many Kentucky rural towns, Medicaid is the only thing keeping their local health care alive.
The most likely Medicaid cuts would hit rural areas the hardest • Kentucky Lantern
Working-age adults in small towns and rural areas are more likely to be covered by Medicaid, a dilemma for Republicans looking to cut the health care program.

There is no bottom.
Donold is now classifying protests at Tesla dealerships as ‘domestic terrorism.’

We're asking folks to stay off the roads as much as possible today while crews work to clear them. Power outages are widespread and utility crews are working hard to restore power to as many Kentuckians as possible before bitterly cold temps set in tomorrow.

Not a day passes that someone doesn’t tell me that they are exhausted or, more candidly, afraid. It is okay to be tired and understandable to be afraid. Courage doesn’t come from being well rested and feeling safe. It is found in overcoming those emotions. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/we-a...

Congratulations to Mike Johnson for trying to pressure the House Ethics Committee into burying a report that found the then-nominee for attorney general had engaged in sexual activity with a minor.

Thou shalt pay Amazon workers fairly, for they are as close as it gets to being Santa’s elves. Without them, Christmas doesn’t happen.
