Why in the fuck would I want to do that?

Not to put too fine of a point on this, but if I spent the last few months putting innocent people in concentration camps and the pope died basically three seconds after I met him, I would not continue life apace, I would not immediately clock back in at the fascism factory.

Every organization in this country must understand that he intends to subjugate you, and will use whatever means necessary. The only path forward is to refuse his demands, no bully has ever been defeated by cowering in fear, punch him in the proverbial nose!

If you want to win a trade war, you gotta have something to trade that other side wants. And we're in a trade war with the very people who make all the things WE want.

You're not going to win that.

Sad to watch the factories that started up this week shut down. The banner over new gates at the end of my block - “help wanted for secure jobs, paid training!” - was somberly lowered and stored for the next epochal revival in manufacturing. Then they torched the place for the insurance
