All money goes straight to buying little treats that keep the brain fog away, thus perpetuating the cycle of me releasing a game sometimes.
You should checkout Jazzmanji — a very weird little niche card game that’s a lot of fun to play. You can print it, or just look at the pretty colours, and you can do it all for free (or a nominal donation of your choice, you kind stranger you).

Come grab Threads! It’s released today and buddy? It’s cheap as chips:

oddmentsoh.itch.io/threads

It’s a little ode to games gone by, and a helpful tool to flesh out time skips in active campaigns too. #ttrpg

Though I didn’t get it to Bluesky before the deadline: Oddments announces new game for new year.

Threads helps build bite size returns to characters and campaigns of yore, allowing players to follow up on what might have become of past protagonists.

I once dreamed a whole cyberpunk conversion for World of Darkness. It was called “Goths with Robot Arms”. Ghenna happened, and before a last alliance of Mages and Garou stopped them, the Antediluvians ate the sun.

Humanity lived on in fractal arcologies, built by the remnants of the Technocracy.

I highly recommend photobashing as a technique for TTRPG creators. And while stock photos are most common, you can also do this technique for any art style old enough to exist in the public domain

A little half price sale on Glyph to celebrate the win. You can pick it up at oddments.games for the princely sum of £2.50 — a steal.

Game design stuff has taken a bit of a backseat lately, because I've been obsessed with world-building this fucked up post-anomaly darkest-possible-timeline black comedy nightmare UK setting, which I'm currently running a BitD game in.

The earliest version of Glyph was intended as a supplement to replace the magic system of any other TTRPG (sort of). As such, it had significantly more rigorous rules.

The tone of the book was also a lot more comedy-forward, which fell by the wayside as we included stuff in the book to actually do.

Genuinely chuffed to have the honour of joining so many great games on the winners list for The Awards 2024. Far too far past my bedtime now, but I intend to post some fun production images from Glyph tomorrow in celebration.

As a fun creative exercise, I’ve recently taken to creating playlists for my Mage the Ascension characters.
