All in all, it might have been better for everyone involved if we had stopped there.
Dickinsonia, back when evolution was excited to make pancakes.

Paleontologists are pretty sure Dickinsonia was an animal, a creature that lived in the sea around 550 million years ago. The flat, ripply organism adhered itself to the floor with mucus and grazed on mats of microbes. Slick. 🧪

Interesting, but also a sign that, for many, these features will be unaffordable.
Well, I tried Claude Cowork, and the very first thing I asked it to do, organize the 300+ screenshots in my Documents folder, it hit a usage cap. That's literally the example everyone gives as the perfect task for Cowork. ¯\(ツ)/¯

I respond to some so-called Second Amendment defenders who are justifying the shooting of Alex. The Second Amendment protects citizens from the state—it does not give the state a license to kill. (Link to full video)

This is appalling. I can say with certainty that Steve Jobs would be ashamed of Tim Cook at this terrible moment, one of many these days, and he has sullied the last year of his tenure and the Apple brand by his craven need to please shareholders over holding onto some basic values of decency.

READ and pass on. Thread on the ICE resistance in Minnesota
I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

Trump in Switzerland: If it wasn't for us, you'd all be speaking German!!

Fact Check: Switzerland's main language is, in fact, German.

Craziest part about Trump's absurd comment is we're now 33 days past the mandated full release of the Epstein Files and Trump is still hiding them like a coward.
