I'm seeing a serious uptick in people being shamed for taking a step back from this dystopian reality for a recharge or distraction. Whether it's a film, watching sports, playing a game, or just walking the dogs, self-care is essential.

I've made friends with the local Crows and they've been coming around for almost 2yrs now.
Today I wanted to treat them with some cereal no one wanted anymore. The crows did not enjoy this new thing on their feeding station.
They'd swoop down and try and sweep it off with each swoop.

Tips for new adoptive dog owners:
Leave a drag leash on, you can step on it to prevent door darting or other behaviors.
Let it explore on its own terms; give it a safe space (crate, room) to decompress.
Practice consent petting rather than smothering it with attention.
Learn @ rule of 3s.
