Go for it Larry!
15 years ago today I arrived on Downing Street in a cage.
I've seen off Cameron, May, Johnson, Truss and Sunak and I'm still going strong.
Only two Prime Ministers have ever done longer stints here: William Pitt the Younger and Sir Robert Walpole.
Bill and Bob - I'm coming for you...

www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio... Truly marvellous telly. Also, for those who have read The Alexandria Quartet by Lawrence Durrell, is it just me or are there shades of that great book in here?

I feel your pain.
Enough writing till Monday. Weekly word rate averaging around 7k which means first draft around the beginning of April. After which I’ll need to rewrite the whole thing top to toe in the hope of discovering what the hell it’s all about 🙏

My name's Barbara Nadel and I support this message.
I am writing a new novel which reminded me people like to know how to write novels. This is my formula:
1 Come up with a good idea.
2 Work out a plot, what your character wants and their arc.
3 Research enough to write the 1st draft.
4 Start sketchy draft
5 Get to 30k. Realise there’s no point. Cry.

Farage can't deal with any kind of scrutiny. An empty vessel clanking out his populist bullshit.
Gorton & Denton is between the Green Party and Reform.

And Farage knows his candidate is weak as.

Hannah Spencer for the win.

www.theguardian.com/food/2026/fe... Pie, mash and eels! I grew up with this stuff and still love it.
The pie and mash crisis: can the original fast food be saved?
There used to be hundreds of pie and mash shops in London. Now there are barely more than 30. Can social media attention and a push for protected status ensure their survival?
