The delay from SCOTUS on tariffs makes sense. The conservative justices are trying to solve a three-body problem: give Trump kingly powers, keep corporations safe from tariffs, and make sure no Democrat ever gets to use the same toys.

The MAGA excuse is that they only have milliseconds to react, so the shooting is justified. The Minneapolis chief of police noted that his officers disarmed over 900 individuals last year, and didn't have to shoot any of them.

On May 4, 1970, I watched the Kent State shootings on tv. My mother said that the students deserved what they got. I was shocked that my kind, loving, mother could be so callous, and I was so glad that I would be going away to college in the fall. Here we are again. It's now us versus them.
