Do black holes have an upper size limit?

The fundamental physics says no, but the history of the universe - as we understand it - tentatively says yes.

Black hole expert Professor Dan Wilkins talks us through it.

We've all heard that neutrinos pretty much go through anything, but is that really true?🤔

The probability of neutrinos interacting with matter is energy dependent.

It turns out that the Earth is essentially opaque to ultra high energy neutrinos

I wrote about how X as an online rumor mill that feeds the hard right propaganda machine, destroying lives in the process.

Ben Shapiro and others in the movement have started to realize that it’s dangerous and bad — because it’s negatively impacting them too, now…

🔁 Loop closing. 24 years ago I submitted my thesis that described how well LHCb could measure asymmetries in this very rare decay, notably A_FB, with 5 years of running. Now we publish this result, with many more asymmetries and intriguing discrepancies with the theoretical prediction. ⚛️🧵
🎄A comprehensive analysis of the B⁰→ K*⁰μ⁺μ⁻ decay arxiv.org/abs/2512.18053 - The measurements of the CP-averaged observables and the branching fractions continue to exhibit the pattern of tensions with the Standard Model predictions that have been seen in previous analyses.

This is appalling.

The problem isn’t entertaining ET hypotheses, it’s making absurd claims backed by atrocious statistical analyses that misinform and scare the public.

One part in a billion and 40% are both less than 0.5, so they’re basically the same thing.

Come on.
