After losing my first girl Vikala to her surgery, it's been hard for me to face the remaining girls and I feel myself growing distant. I have just two left of the original 4 and two babies who have yet to warm to me fully. I love them so much but I just keep feeling like I'm not good enough for them

The game's not hard to learn. I can teach you at some point if you have Tabletop Simulator.

I wish I could put fabrics and stuff down for my girls like that, but every single one loves textures to some degree and will tear them up for nesting. 🙃

That IS a bit strange to hear. 2 is kind of a classic. Height of the series for me.

But hey maybe go back to it and see if tinkering more helps? Your loadout makes all the difference in every mission there.

Yeah they're a much more BattleTech/MechWarrior influenced design where you're encouraged to take positioning and range. It's a much more natural progression from 1 to 2 than anything 4+ backwards.

If you haven't played it yet, you might enjoy Armored Core 2 on PSX. Tinkering with your build to deal with missions and arena opponents is more of a neccessity.
