An Ellis Rosen cartoon. A very special kind of humour. Not everyone will find it funny. There are different senses of humour, & we often choose friends & partners by whether we share the same. That it's not funny to some doesn't mean it's offensive. Bcs its intention isn't.

finished reading & highly recommend this walking memoir by @craigmod.com

if I hadn't been reading in public, i would have cried my eyes out

excited to plan an on-site programming event at my former university for the end of the month. it will be nice to see the students face to face again. online lectures are much more productive with people who actually know each other. so i hope, subsequent bootcamps will benefit #academicsky #edusky

filled the car to the brim with tools and materials (again!) and headed to the "House of Angles (except 90)". three weeks of building cabinets, digging, laying subsurface drainage, skim coating, and panelling will hopefully bring the house up to a livable state. wish me luck

brilliant! a new PG Fitzsimmons book is out. the author describes this series as 'if Wodehouse wrote locked room mysteries'. a high aim, but i think he achieves it. pity that we can get the ebook only on Amazon, though :( www.amazon.com/Twisted-Herr... #booksky
