It's a bit rough and stiff and the balance can be a bit wonky, but it feels like the developers really wanted to do the source material justice. It's an uncompromising game about painstakingly, slowly exploring a nightmare ecology.
Like a long-lost PS2 game that swung above its weight. I like it.
