Took a hike, spied a female Anna's Hummingbird perched on a twig. She's backlit and I had to thread a needle to reach her, but I like the composition and the bokeh balls in the canopy background over another feeder shot...all day.

I'm going with the alternative #BirdOfTheDay theme today of #posts - a magnificent Turkey Vulture perched on a fence post. His wing span was more than 6 feet! I always think of them as being black but the sun really shows off the color variations in his feathers.
