Not at all daily #Hongjoong from last night. I often like these simpler, slightly cartoony sketches better. If I put in the hours to do the full color and shading, it winds up more frustrating for me because it’s never as accurate/photorealistic as I’d like.

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to make Yeosang or anyone else in Ateez just how crazy the line “808s so deep they gon fracture ribs” makes me. Tragic.

I thought I’d shared this one already but I can’t find it. Anyway, I tinkered with it again and I think it’s an improvement? I seem to keep picking challenging #Hongjoong references.

I started this ages ago and really really hated it. The angle is REALLY hard and it was driving me crazy. I took it out tonight again and still feel like it’s not great but it feels closer to #Hongjoong and I’m cringing less looking at it. It’s off from the reference but in a somewhat.. okay way.

I signed up for three FTH offerings, two podfics and one typesetting gig. For podfic, I specified MDZS, For All Mankind, and.. Heated Rivalry. So we’ll see how that goes. For the typeset, any MXTX, HR, and (untagged) any fandom I’ve created for before. We shall see. We shall see.

There’s a translatiny who opened up random Korean lesson slots for just this month and I was like, you know, what the hell, sure. I was thinking of finding a 1:1 tutor this year anyway, ideally one with Japanese fluency so I could ask my weeb background questions. And it’s.. going okay!

I guess while I’m issuing corrections, I should amend that there is some choreo at the very end of the medley and Yunho in fact has a bomb dance spotlight with hand moves. Vaguely voguing? Not quite waacking, but some flavor of that kind of street dance. It looks very satisfying.
The Fever medley has no choreo, Ateez just go around the stage and work the audience. They dance, they grind, they rizz fans up, they rizz EACH OTHER up. Hongjoong's rap is A+++, the hype vibes are immaculate. I can't believe they did it for ME the first time I saw them live. youtu.be/q4Tww5Ygcss...
