When it comes to AI powered voice banks, remember:
- They CAN be made ethically, but many opt not to
- They are still tools that require tuning, just like a Vocaloid or any other instrument
- There's an art to engineering that corporate can't see since they think us humans are too expensive

As someone who has an ESA who does go up to humans whenever a human is sad, crying, anxious, severely depressed, etc: this is also accurate.
Sometimes ESA does what ESA deems is appropriate care, even if it means staying away for a bit while you process that intense emotion you've got going on XD

I was way too young to understand what ecchi and hentai were, let alone anything about anime lolis, but UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie's character designs (especially the titular Valkyrie herself) definitely made me end up drawing a lot of boob socks and funky sci-fi fantasy dresses for a long time.

Every now and then when I doubt myself when it comes to how I discuss AI and current AI tech on my streams, I'll have to remember this video and how this guy was basically doing his craft traditionally BASICALLY ALL ON HIS OWN, AND YET, HE STILL FED IT TO AN AI TO FINISH IT FOR HIM.
I had to screen record this one, it’s so bad. A visual artist who has Claude develop a “shot list” from his notes. Embarrassing. Also pretty interesting how little of this is about AI? Three years in and this is the best they’ve got. Embarrassing! Shameful!
