Disaster half not sure it's recoverable

Texas just looks like the better team. If they can hit 70% of their 3s or whatever it is right now we've got no chance

The commercials on ESPN News at 10pm almost make the ACCN look good

Even if he's off by half, and he probably is, that's still a shocking figure, and it falls in line with ALICE's figure of 42% of households under their threshold for financial hardship.

The True Poverty Line Is not $140,000, But It’s Still Shockingly High
A semi-viral post claiming the poverty line is $140,000 may be BS, but the precariousness Americans feel in everyday life is very real.

Two positives going into tomorrow - Texas does not play until 10:30 tonight, so a much quicker turnaround for them. And State can prep for Texas pretty much from the end of the Boise game, as there's about a 0% chance of playing the D2 team.

As well as State has played today, and its been a great day, these last three minutes have been painful

20 stocks (steals + blocks) and 22 fast break points compared to 7 stocks and 7 fast break points

No full-on dissection of yesterday, but the thing that stands out the most in both the stats and visually were blocks.

SH blocked 9 shots, Pack blocked 2. State got more shots up but shot almost 10% worse (52% to 42%). Take out the blocks, State shot 50%. Even in an 11pt game, that's the margin.

I know there's a lot of time but I'm leaning towards 'cooked' for this NC State basketball game.

Miami somehow has a lot of paths to the ACCCG (need Duke plus one of SMU/UVA to lose). Has to be the ACCs best chance to not get embarrassed in the CFP. Obviously all this means they will lose to Pitt on Saturday.

Rodney Rogers was a force of nature on the basketball court and a source of inspiration for so many after the accident that left him paralyzed but undaunted.

One of the greatest ever to play in the ACC. A true legnd in many ways. RIP.

Marshall with a well earned stat-stuffer INT to end it

What a big boy drive by the Pack

Specifically they are doing with :40 seconds left what they should have done with 2:50 left
That was some terrrrrrrrrrible coaching from State to end the half. My god, Dave.

I cannot stress enough that we should run Duke in like a 50/50 split, we just don't have the line play for Hollywood

bit the bullet this morning and foia'ed every D-1 school's football balloon spend for all of 2024. We already got a result!

In 2024, NC State spent $43,000 on balloons.

The answer to this looks like its going to be 'get a steal down 2 with 30 seconds left and try a lob dunk that doesn't work'
Wake once again with a huge out of conference opportunity, up in the 2nd half vs Texas Tech. Lets see how they screw this one up.
