On Teams (yuck) for first look/training on our new work database. Having been involved in this sort of project before, and having used many clunky databases, all I can think is...please don't be shit, please don't be shit....

Its going to be shit isn't it?...I just know its going to be shit...

Zohran Mamdani caught lying that he understood Plato’s allegory of the cave, yet when asked to explain it, he seemed to instead explain Baudrillard’s theory of Simulacra and Simulation where reality has been replaced by symbols and signs, which seems similar to Plato’s theory but is not the same

When I was a kid, my mum used to ask me, "What would you like to stitch today?" 9 out of 10 times I'd say "a rainbow!" 😊

I hate it when things get out of order...it's supposed to be Halloween, Orbs, and then Christmas. I blame climate change and capitalism. Anyway, Happy UAP Season everyone...

This paradise was mine. I let it go for my children. This weekend, returning for my daughters marriage has been hard. But it has been loved, and cared for. And I take comfort from that.
Still weeping a bit though...
