In keeping with the day's theme, I love this new project so much. I've been trying to be as present as possible in the "real" world, so I can give my writing the kind of emotional saturation it needs, and every time this story stretches out it feels like it's increasing my lung capacity.
The sky agrees; it's time for me to write a love story. (A dark, weird love story obviously, but a love story nonetheless.)

The thing about trying a new thing like drawing or writing is you have to be willing to suck at it, sometimes for quite a long time. In our age of instant gratification, people don't want to go through that stage but I'm here to tell you it makes the day you produce something you truly love so sweet

A hole runs through the bear’s torso suggesting it was threaded on a cord, perhaps worn or carried as a protective charm.
Found in a peat bog near Słupsk, Poland, in 1887.

I've been trying to show kindness to unkind people (for myself and who I want to be as much as for them). Tonight really tested me. But on the drive home I decided the big, serene moon was gazing at me with motherly approval, and we all know I have mommy issues, so that's enough to keep trying.
