We’ve said it before, we’ll keep repeating it: LGBT folk are not “propaganda” and our lives are not an “ideology.” We’re just people trying to live ordinary lives. And we deserve to thrive within homes, schools, workplaces, and communities without other people objecting to our existence. It’s basic.
The Supreme Court has ruled to allow parents to opt out of school curriculum that includes LGBTQ themes in a decision that ACLU lawyer Chase Strangio says casts queer and trans people and families as an "ideology" rather than a community.
