Yes I also enjoyed it very much. Definitely recommended. (And in a sample of one - my companion - you don’t need to have read the book.)
Really good night at the theatre *slightly* dampened by watching the highlights of the Arsenal game and realising I missed a really, really good match. Anyway, the 'Spy Who Came In From The Cold' is terrific.

Although it’s fiction there’s a really interesting book from @aspyalone.bsky.social on this called “A spy alone” which explores exactly this topic in the modern age through the eyes of someone who recently retired from about 20 years inside of SIS and was very familiar with the topic in real life.

Ukrainian intelligence noted that Trump is being overly aggressive in trying to force Zelenskyy to surrender territory to Russia. It is hinted that it appears to be very desperate and raises the question of why Trump is now suddenly pushing so hard.
