I've been working in sketchbooks more as part of a class assignment; here are some of my recent sketches 👉👈 I've been trying to draw what comes to me in the moment, and not worry too much about the output or making everything perfect, but also put time into each to make it feel 'done' as a sketch.

We found a grounded Mexican Free-tailed bat. It was covered in cobwebs and looked dead, but then I noticed it was breathing rapidly and its eyes were bright.
I carefully used a stick to clean the cobwebs off of it, I hope it survived and managed to fly away.

I’m so jumpy lately.
JWs, one of them our (I guess probably now ex-) plumber, at the door set off so many internal alarm bells.
I’ve been on the edge of a panic attack since they left and I hate it. I’ve haven’t existed in this prolonged feeling of imminent danger since I got out of Tennessee.

Just heard about this super typhoon from one of my manufacturing partners in China. Utterly terrifying. I'm glad to know she's safe, also kind of horrified that she's replying to emails rn. 😭
Super Typhoon Ragasa, a T10 (highest possible typhoon warning) is wrecking Hong Kong at the moment. This is video from the Ocean Park Fullerton Hotel.
