A Canada First approach is not the right way to conceptualize the current attitude that Canadians have towards the US administration. Poilievre is completely missing the mark.
It's very reminiscent of Donald's America First approach and that's like the opposite of what many Canadians are feeling.

It was 28 degrees for Obama's inauguration in 2009. I bet the crowd estimates were weak so he's chickening out. We'll never know for sure, but I'm going with this explanation.
