ngl i really get annoyed when i say i'm tired and sick all the time because i work a rotating shift and someone will tell me how their situation is harder somehow because they also don't sleep long enough/work long hours when listen. it's not a competition my dudes.

The most unnecessary thing in video games that I LOVE? If they let my character sit down anywhere. On benches. On tree trunks. On the ground. Anytime I want, I can sit down. I see a pretty spot? I can sit there. In grass. By water. Let me sit down and the RP part of RPG is up immediately.

Apparently owl car collisions are at an all time high in Feb cuz they're getting ready to breed so they end up hunting more and searching for prey near roads and getting hit by cars

i think people forget that art is a form of communication. like enjoying the process is absolutely a part of it, but ultimately art is created to communicate ideas and feelings to other people, so ofc people can feel let down/frustrated when their messages aren't heard or being received

I have kinda complex feelings on this topic, but a lot of it boils down to that yes, having no one react to something you put your heart into DOES suck, so when I first started posting art online, having a small group of like-minded friends I could show stuff to who cheered me on helped IMMENSELY
I don’t think ppl understand the whole “who cares if nobody likes it! make content for yourself” is extremely dismissive
Bc we ARE making the content for ourselves but it feels /bad/ when people don’t engage or show interest. You can care about both at the same time

Played mahjong with my brother, aunts and brother's gf for like 4h, swept the table twice with guidance from my dad and uncle
