"In Ferro Veritas" - Veritas is a beloved DMPC of our D&D campaign. He became Veritas through a deal with Demogorgon, the Prince of Demons. He was once Atreyu, future King of Helio. He steps down from the throne to protect it from Demonic influence, renouncing it in secret. Atreyu is rumored to have died in battle. Veritas establishes himself as a name in the high court of law. Here he is dressed in diplomatic robes of Lavender and deep purple. He holds a golden scale, a symbol of balance and justice. The book in his hand is titled "In Ferro Veritas," which translates to Truth in the Sword. A golden rapier (that resembles the horn of a unicorn when sheathed) sits on his hip. A stained glass rose window over his shoulder seems to focus on him like the eye of an eldritch god. "Atreyu Rising" Atreyu (who was trapped in his Tiefling form, as Veritas, and in a constant internal struggle against being overtaken and possessed by Demogorgon) overcomes the influence of the Demon Prince and achieves his Dawn forme. He stretches wings of gold and stained glass and rises into the crimson moonlight.
