I try to make coloring pages like this because I yearn for the time when they were that stylish and well thought out.
Mario of Super Mario Bros fame, sitting at the iron throne, but it is made of various video game swords. Pac Man is off to the side, juggling power pellets while dressed as a jester. I call this piece "Throne of Games." A guild wars 2 piece inspired in part by Albrecht Durer's "Knight, Death, and the Devil. Trahearne is the Knight on his Wild Hunt to journey across and purify Orr. The wraith on the left side of the piece acts as the precursor of death, and points across to the specter of Mordremoth--this story's proverbial Devil. Zhiatan flies through the mist overhead.

The plan (composition) is all coming together.
A wip drawing of Halsin from BG3 and a commissioner's Tiefling Tav. It is now partially inked and I have sketched the rest of the Tav's outfit, as well as blocked in the compositional and darkness/value of their surroundings.

My first ever attempt at drawing a BG3 Halsin (Thank you, you lovely commissioner friend. You know who you are). Gods, he is a pretty man.

I would like to take him to a music festival. Or climb him like a tree...you know...participate with him in a fun outdoor activity.

Once I am satisfied with him, I will start digitally sketching in the Tav over the traditional pencil gesture. I think this comm should come out nice. Hehehe also I like drawing my pretty men with claws so luckily I have the excuse that there is some spicy wild shape action afoot. I know what I am.

Doing a study of my favorite Hellboy 1996 promo art (but with Veritas and the Demogorgon redesign instead of Hellboy and Helldad).

Mignola's shading style is so inspired but I struggled to accomplish it in previous attempts. This the ultimate "have I leveled up as an artist" test. Wish me luck! 😈

Sir Flatwood and Sir Moth Mann, Cleric of Lamp. They are in love, and are not to be separated under any circumstances.

Cryptid knight boyfriends.
Two knights, clad in blacksteel armour. The one on the left (Sir Flatwood) sports a tabard with waist belt and chainmail underneath. Their tabard has a violet to lime green gradient and they have a hood that resembles a large cordate-shaped leaf. Their gauntlets end in bright lime talons. Their eyes glow yellow beneath the visor of a metal helm. The one on the right (Sir Moth Mann, Cleric of Lamp) is clad in a surcoat made up black and red glowing moth wings wrapped around themself. They have four gauntleted arms that each end in vibrant red claws. They wield a sword and a lantern-headed staff, their remaining hand is casting a divine fire. Their head is mostly covered by a brimless kettle-hat style helm, and chainmail hood. Their feathery moth antennae poke through holes in their helm. Red eyes glow in the darkness under the hood. They are in cryptid love, do not separate.

I just finished my sticker collection for the convention I'm tabling at in October!

Its based off of weird medieval guys found in margins of illuminated manuscripts, but it its all creatures from games and properties I find interesting (listed in alt). My set has 33 designs.

Can you Identify any?
A hanging pocket organizer with 33 pockets, each with a different sticker design in it. The stickers were designed like they were drawn by medieval monks in the margins of illuminated manuscripts. Origin properties include Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Dungeon Meshi, Fear & Hunger, and Pokémon.

Developing a new OC!

Kalen V. Lucero is a Filipino American living in coastal MA. He's an Archivist, working w/ rare tomes at a library. He moonlights as a witch's familiar.

He and the witch protect the town from eerie occurrences, while the witch tries to reverse their accidental bonding.
Design notes: The first Kalen illustration! His human forme is still a wip so some aspects are subject to change. He has dark, wavy hair and a tanned complexion. He wears glasses for reading and is partial to soft, boxy sweaters. Design notes: Kalen's infernal familiar forme that he appears to the witch in. His skin tone is maroon that gradients to purple at his extremities (hands, feet, tail, ears, etc), his horns are darker in color than his skin and fade to a lavender color. His hands and feet are taloned, and he takes on a Velociraptor stance when running. His hair has the same texture and color as his human forme has (dark brownish and wavy) but I grown out. I haven't decided on a final eye color tbh. His floppy cow ears are my favorite character design aspect, so I needed him to have them.

I love to create works with a focus on high detail, dynamic anatomy, and renaissance inspirations. I like to challenge myself with style and draw what people often say "no" to (armor, foliage, mechanical bs, and creature designs, for example.) I love drawing people's OCs, especially from ttrpgs.
"A Light in the Darkness" - (I think that's what I called this one) Trelle and Atreyu (left and right) find each other again, (sharing a tender moment) in the Dungeons of Fear and Hunger. Their clothing is tattered and marred with the blood of countless horrific entities and they are wearing mismatched armour and weapons that they found as they delved. They both have arm guards they managed to find in the guard barracks, and Trelle has a stolen basket filled with herbs she found using druidcraft. Trelle's gold locket, a symbol of the love between the two, lights the darkness that would otherwise cause madness...but figures build from the shadows in their periphery. "A Lingering Will" - A favorite fanart piece of mine. A vividly colored stained glass window depicts the narrative journey of Terra from Kingdom Hearts (if you know, you know. That can't fit in this alt text box) Characters from left to right include: Ansem the seeker of darkness, Lingering Will taking a central stance with a looming Dark Figure above, and Xemnas in his white and black robes. All characters have a connection to Terra, who is (but not quite) notably absent. Iconography of the wayfinders, Hearts falling from a damaged kingdom hearts, and the spires of the organization XIII stronghold is visible in the shining glass. The stone walls around the window are worn and overgrown with ivy, but the window itself is pristine...almost magically so. Silhouetted against the bright colors with the help of a light spell, an adult Riku stands with keyblade in hand, head raised to gaze and reflect on the masterpiece before him.

"In Ferro Veritas" - Veritas is a beloved DMPC of our D&D campaign. He became Veritas through a deal with Demogorgon, the Prince of Demons. He was once Atreyu, future King of Helio. He steps down from the throne to protect it from Demonic influence, renouncing it in secret. Atreyu is rumored to have died in battle. Veritas establishes himself as a name in the high court of law. Here he is dressed in diplomatic robes of Lavender and deep purple. He holds a golden scale, a symbol of balance and justice. The book in his hand is titled "In Ferro Veritas," which translates to Truth in the Sword. A golden rapier (that resembles the horn of a unicorn when sheathed) sits on his hip. A stained glass rose window over his shoulder seems to focus on him like the eye of an eldritch god. "Atreyu Rising" Atreyu (who was trapped in his Tiefling form, as Veritas, and in a constant internal struggle against being overtaken and possessed by Demogorgon) overcomes the influence of the Demon Prince and achieves his Dawn forme. He stretches wings of gold and stained glass and rises into the crimson moonlight.

Artfight Revenge of Mason Vega Moreno, son of Hades. I drew him in a Hades (game) style garb, with skull iconography on their belt, pauldron and necklace. They wear it all over a black Atreyu band shirt. They are accompanied by skeletal familiars, birds, because for some strange esoteric reason, Mason can only use necromancy on avian targets. He wields a bident, like the elder Hades. The background has a phosphorescent haze, over which the title "the young Hades" drifts (reminiscent of a magazine cover). His face is framed by wild dark hair, his maroon horns sweep backwards and up, like an infernal crown. His eyes shine a vivid Aqua. Veritas is wearing half-plate with a silken brigandine and a well-worn sash around his waist. The plate armour shines with opalescent magic. The overall color scheme of the clothing and armour is a mixture of purples that compliments his warm red complexion. He wields a god-touched rapier, with a shining, golden basket hilt. His header text reads: "Veritas, the Infernal. Vengeance Paladin. Pyromancer Sorcerer. He/Him. Lawful Evil." Next to him is a small collection of his personal affects, including a stationary set, his favorite loose tea, and a ring from his marriage to a lost love. I'm doing some rad Sketching as I plan out a reference sheet for my DnD fae OC, Trelle.

This reference sheet will be perfect as an example for Vgen and Artfight; I am so pumped to add it to my portfolio of work.
A sketchbook page that shows some process work for a reference sheet of my DnD fae OC, Trelle. The doodles at the top are items from her inventory, including Thieves Tools, Herbalist kit items, and a golden locket that she would never part from. The page also features two bust drawings; one showing her hair wrapped up in an impromptu disguise, and one of her base looks. Trelle's hair is wild and curly, and her ears are very distinctive...very recognizable. Another sketchbook page showing some process work for a reference sheet of my DnD fae OC, Trelle. This one shows a design for Trelle's base adventuring outfit. She wears a stay-styled corset top that provides armour in the form of steel boning, a skirt with belt and skirt hikes, and splint style leg guards, inspired by leg armour from armstreet. I can't wait to ink and color this outfit.

Here is best boy, Veritas. He's the fave DMPC and the party's lawyer. He is appropriately lawful evil, and beautiful.

Trelle's name (Chanterelle) is based off of the name of the Pacific Golden Chanterelle mushroom. She is a DnD fae spore druid inspired by a mushroom witchsona avatar I designed for myself. I love mycology and this mushroom is one of my favorites.
